HHS announces provider relief funding of $20 billion

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced $20 billion in new funding through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The funds are intended to help providers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The application process began on Oct. 5 and will end on Nov. 6. This general Phase 3 general distribution will allow providers who have already received Provider Relief Fund payments to apply, as well as those previously ineligible.
