Mistruths and misconceptions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic continue to spread, including who’s at risk of contracting the virus, certain drugs to counteract its effects, and so on. To dispel the many mistruths and “un-facts” surrounding the virus, MJH Life Sciences COVID-19 Coalition will host a free, 1-hour webinar at 6 p.m. EST on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
‘Fact or Fiction? COVID-19 Myths and Controversies’ will feature a panel of top-tier experts, including infection prevention epidemiologists, virologists, and research specialists.

Contemporary OB/GYN Senior Editor Angie DeRosa gets insight on the current state of COVID-19 from Christina Han, MD, division director of maternal-fetal medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, and member of its COVID-19 task force. Han is an active member of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and discusses the issues on behalf of SMFM.
