The August 2024 issue of Parents PACK, the Vaccine Education Center’s newsletter for the public, offered a new video addressing a common question from new parents. In this video, Dr. Lori Handy describes the reasons for the recommendation for pregnant people to receive the Tdap vaccine between 27 and 36 weeks of pregnancy and why parents do not need to be concerned that the vaccine given during pregnancy will interfere with their baby’s response to the DTaP vaccine recommended in first few months of life.
