As the holiday season leaves as quickly as it arrived, we are left with a clean slate for the year.
This fresh opportunity promises a mountain of possibilities; however, the New Year can also be intimidating. From the challenge of getting back into the swing of things post holiday to determining what your goals will be for the year, many things can make the beginning of the New Year daunting.
At Contemporary OB/GYN®, we have been hard at work planning for a successful New Year. With more content and expanded coverage in our future, we have positioned the publication to inform our readers better than ever in 2023.
Additionally, we are continuing to improve our offerings to help supplement our publication, including the following:
For Contemporary OB/GYN®, we look forward to covering upcoming women’s health meetings, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Acade-my of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, The North American Menopause Society, the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS), and the Infectious Diseases Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology, among many others.
We also plan to expand our Strategic Alliance Partnership (SAP) program from our current 6 partners: AUGS, the Society of OB/GYN Hospitalists, SHARE, SMFM, Allegheny Health Net-work, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Vaccine Education Center. The SAP program partners with leading medical associations, health plans, advocacy groups, and medical institutions to increase their national reach and visibility. By utilizing the MJH Life Sciences® communications platform, these groups can showcase cutting-edge initiatives, content, re-search, and thought leadership. The SAP pro-gram also fosters collaboration and an open exchange of information among trusted peers for the benefit of patients and their families.
Through continuing improvements, I believe they will benefit not only Contemporary OB/GYN®, but also MJH Life Sciences®, to better inform the medical community on the latest news in health care.
As the poet Edith Lovejoy Pierce said: “We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” So, with that, cheers to a healthy and promising New Year.
