Contemporary OB/GYN was recently honored by American Business Media (ABM) with two Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards.

Contemporary OB/GYN was recently honored by American Business Media (ABM) with two Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards. The magazine was saluted by a distinguished board of judges for Best Staff-Written Editorials and Best Regularly Featured Department or Column. The judging panel, chaired by the distinguished journalist Marshall Loeb, selected 27 winners in several categories out of 1,168 entries.

Contemporary OB/GYN's Newsline columns from July, August, October, and November 2004, produced by Executive Editor Paul Cerrato, garnered the department award.

Considered the "Pulitzer Prize of specialized journalism," the awards are the publishing industry's salute to individual editors for outstanding editorial excellence in fields like information technology, health care, and retail business. Winning entries were selected for contribution to the field the publication serves, as well as for journalistic enterprise and editorial craftsmanship.
